The Hive is more than just a meeting place, it is where ideas are generated and shared, where connections are made, and where creativity knows no bounds.

We want all participants to connect with new ways of thinking, unleash their creativity, and to collaborate with their colleagues in a comfortable place that gives them the freedom to express their ideas.

The Hive is unconventional, non-traditional and different. In today’s current climate of meetings, conferences and events, The Hive is a welcome break from the usual and unavoidable blank canvas meeting room.

Spreading over a 865m² area filled with flexible and modular furniture, the space can be arranged in any which way to suit your needs, whether you prefer small sectioned groups, or wide-open spaces, there is no right or wrong.

With our 80-seat auditorium, participants are able to choose where and how they sit, encouraging them to engage in direct dialogue and to fully immerse themselves in the presentation. There are also multiple private meeting rooms, taking on different themes, with a spectrum of colours, textures and materials that bring the space, and your meeting, to life (one even has a swing set). With so much variety, you will never have to search long for inspiration to strike!

The future of meetings

After observing meetings and the behavioural patterns of audiences, it became apparent that one-way dialogues are fighting a losing battle against the distraction of mobile technologies, as the delegates want to engage in dialogue rather than be lectured at. Delegates are deciding to migrate into smaller clusters, preferring face to face interactions. In answer to this, we created The Hive, which works to dismantle the traditional idea of a speaker addressing an audience, instead encouraging face to face engagement and free flowing conversation with adaptable seating arrangements and layouts. All within a creative environment.

The Hive is a unique space, allowing your team to break down hierarchical boundaries and feel comfortable within an open-minded environment. To keep the focus on building relationships, boosting productivity and inspiring bright ideas, the space accommodates small to medium sized meetings, workshops and training sessions. Whether you are an eager young team of ten who are excited to get started, or a sixty-person team of seasoned conference and meeting experts who are ready for a change of pace, The Hive is the perfect place for you.

Food for thought

hive-img03Thinking really builds up an appetite, which is why we have the grazing catering offer from our very own Capital Hospitality, where participants can enjoy some brain fuel as and when they need it. We cater to everything, from afternoon snacks to European lunches, with menus and options to suit every taste and preference. We also have a range of different restaurants and cafes available onsite. In addition, a concierge style host will be available to provide assistance whenever necessary.

A short way to go

The Hive is less than a 1-minute walk away from our grandstand parking where the participants can park their cars. There are also multiple car parking areas situated onsite, including car park A and car park B.

Meaningful meetings

Meetings are difficult things to perfect, it takes time, practice and often, a little extra insight. We have a handy little guide to help you decide which meeting format best suits your style and what you want to achieve from the session, as different agendas often require different meeting formats. Our useful brochure - which you shall receive upon booking - can help you decide between a campfire session or a dotmocracy to get the optimum results for your objectives.
